specsThe RhinoRock wall panel outer shell is clad with a high performance concrete that is heavily fiber reinforced.  The interior of the panel is an expanded polystyrene foam core.   The combination of the tough concrete shell and the foam core yields a panel that is strong, yet light weight.  This unique structural desgin yields a panel that is 90% lighter than a typical concrete fence panel and only weighs 230 lbs.   The column is a solid precast concrete and is the
same patented column system that has been used in our heavy concrete fencing since 1995.   This system has stood the test of time.  Download Spec Sheet for more technical details.

The RhinoRock concrete clad fence panel meets a 120 mph exposure B and 100 mph exposure C International Building Code wind load requirement when installed correctly and to specifications from manufacturer.

Test results (Testing Engineering Report) are based on worst case scenarios.   Consult with a local engineer for footing design specific to your project.

The footing is typically a round pier footing at 9′ centers.  A 12″ auger will yield a 14″ diameter excavation that is then filled with a minimum 3000 psi concrete.   Local conditions may require larger footings, so check with a local engineer in your area.

The following are great benefits of the RhinoRock light weight concrete clad fence that many other products don’t have:
-unaffected by seasonal temperature changes
-totally UV stable
-unaffected by water
-dimensionally stable
-is a green product because 50% percent of material is made from recycled  materials
-is virtually maintenance free

Note to architects and engineers:  Specify only what is required for your site in regards to wind speed and exposure, as higher wind speeds and exposures will elevate the cost for the fence footing design.   You can download  written specs and pdf drawings on our download page.  The footing to column attachment details are specified in the written specs.
